After national headlines were made last week regarding a $400K gambling debt that Sir Charles owed to the Wynn Hotel and Casino, Barkley publicly apologized to his family and friends last night on TNT's pregame coverage of the Spurs/Hornets game 7:
Well...some more interesting news came out today that tells a different story than what Barkley had to say last night. According to ESPN.com, a Las Vegas prosecutor as well as the Wynn both claim that Barkley has yet to pay a cent of the $400K owed from an October 2007 gambling marker. I have a feeling you won't be seeing our buddy John Daly in the high-stakes room at the Wynn anytime soon. I also have a feeling that the publicist for the Wynn that has now undoubtedly scared countless high rollers away from the casino is going to be drug out back and shot. I've seen Casino a few times...I know how these things work...
